Warranty Policy (Summary): All products sold by TechTic are covered against manufacturing defects and faulty workmanship under normal use, subject to the terms below. Where applicable, items carry the manufacturer’s warranty, and we will assist with the claims process; in addition, in line with the South African Consumer Protection Act, defective or unsafe goods may be returned within 6 months of delivery for your choice of repair, replacement, or refund, once assessed and confirmed as faulty. Warranty does not cover accidental damage (drops/cracks), liquid damage, power surges, misuse, normal wear-and-tear (including battery degradation), unauthorised repairs, software issues, or tampered serial/IMEI numbers. Claims require proof of purchase (invoice/order number) and may require the serial/IMEI; items must be returned with accessories where relevant. If no fault is found or damage falls under exclusions, return/shipping or assessment costs may apply. We are not responsible for data loss—please back up devices before returning them—and liability is limited to the purchase price where permitted by law.
